Did you submit a song yet?
Let the countdown begin!! Don't forgot to submit a song under the "Submit a Song" tab.
The Yan & McConnell Wedding is this Sunday, July 10 at the Bayshore Clubhouse at 4pm! Guests may begin arriving at 3:30pm. Our plan is to have the wedding ceremony by the lake (we're outside!!), but if weather is a concern (cross your fingers and hope for no rain or wind please!), we will have the ceremony inside the Clubhouse. Following the ceremony, the reception will be held inside the Bayshore Clubhouse.
Please note that if the parking lot at the clubhouse if full, parking is available on the street around the clubhouse and also at the Bayshore Elementary School off of Bayshore Drive. There is a trail that leads up to the Bayshore Clubhouse on the left hand side.
Just a quick note, those that are attending the Bridal Shower, take the 2nd Kenia Fjords Loop (saves you from driving the loop!) - the house is on the corner on the left!
We are so excited to have you celebrate with us! See you in a few days!!

Just around the corner!
The big day is just around the corner. We are super excited and have been super busy! We picked up ties for the groomsmen, got the wedding dress altered, and this weekend we have our cake tasting! We are ready to sample some delicious cakes! Our photo guestbook arrived in the mail a few days ago; Mandy created it using Picaboo, so we hope you get a chance to peruse through the book at the wedding and enjoy the pictures (and of course, sign it!). :-)
While Chris is at work, Mandy has been spending her "summer vacation" organizing the house, folding paper cranes, and crafting with Elizabeth (she's helping us make cute wedding favors and centerpieces). In the evenings, we have been working on our "first dance," so look forward to that! :-) Chris has also been working on landscaping the front yard so if you stop by our place, check out our new tree and shrubs out front!
We can't wait until July 10th! See you then (or sooner!)!

School is out, time for wedding planning!!
Now that school is out and I'm off for the summer, it's time to get into wedding planning mode and finish off the last few details of the wedding...decorations is one of them! Today we are meeting with one of my student's parents who is super awesome with crafts! We are hoping she can give us good ideas and ways to decorate for our wedding. We're excited!!
Our officiant, Casey, is also in wedding mode since she is out of school as well! She's doing such a fantastic job helping us get the ceremony together. She ROCKS!
This past weekend we were in Washington in Camano Island for Joel and Meghan's wedding. It was an inspiration for us to get back into wedding planning mode since the both of us have been so busy at work! It was a great wedding and it was so much fun - beautiful, even in the sprinkling rain! :-) Meghan's dress was BEAUTIFUL! Congrats, you two!

84 More Days!
84 more days until our BIG DAY! We are very excited that the wedding is just around the corner! We just met with our cake decorator this past weekend and are very excited about the design we created together. We have many of the big parts of the wedding taken care of - now we have the decorations to do!
